Solihull MBC established a Flexible Contracting Arrangement (FCA) under the Light Touch regime of the PCR 2015 to purchase residential and nursing care home beds for older people in 2021. The FCA is with a range of providers and is used to purchase both individual placements and also to run mini-competitions to award block contracts.This opportunity is a re-opening of the FCA to allow additional providers to apply to join the FCA (Stage 1) and also a mini-competition for Pathway 2 Nursing and Dementia Respite beds (Stage 2). New providers must complete Stage 1 but Stage 2 is optional. Existing providers do not need to re-complete Stage 1.The FCA will run until 30th September 2026 with options to extend for up to 24 months plus 24 months. The Council does not commit to any volumes through the FCA. Block contracts will be for a 2 year period and delivery of the block contracts is required to be within Solihull Borough.Deadline for submissions is noon on 31st October 2023.
