Direct Award for Social Care Agency Staff

(COVID-19: Emergency Measures in Relation to Procurement of

Health and Social Care Contracts). 1.1 Glasgow City Council Operational Care Services, “the Service”, is experiencing an on-going and critical staffing shortage. This is due to several COVID-19 related circumstances including the requirement for staff to isolate following contact from Track and Trace, staff absences through sickness absences, fulfilling the annual leave backlog and the general on-going impact of COVID-19 especially in relation to Health and Social Care Service provision.
