two.2.4) Description of the procurement
Turner Schools is a growing Multi Academy Trust with five schools based in Folkestone Kent, all within a two mile radius of each other. The Trust provides education from nursery through to sixth form and currently has two secondary schools and three primary schools. The Trust are inviting tenders to serve all schools within the Trust with a full daily catering provision. This will consist of breakfast, break, lunch and after school meals. We are looking for a provision where focus is on high quality ingredients and taste to increase pupil meal take up. One of our secondary schools provides a family dining experience which needs to be maintained and possibly rolled out to our primary schools. The provision is currently outsourced, therefore not all catering staff are on the Local Government Pension Scheme. TUPE is expected to apply.
