The aim is for the University to obtain detailed feedback from suppliers and installers, who are capable of supplying services to the University. The University is keen to hear what strategies have been adopted by other similar customers, and what service supply options are available through the market.

The University intends to utilise the information collected from this questionnaire to develop a procurement strategy to take to market to procure a solution to its lighting upgrade requirements. It is hoped that shaping and refining the procurement strategy will result in a good level of competition and some innovative solutions being proposed by bidders, and therefore this SMT will benefit both suppliers and the University.
