Under Direct Award Process B of the Provider Selection Regime Regulations 2023 there is an opportunity for all Potential Suppliers to submit a response to be able to deliver the COVID-19 vaccination service from 1 October 2025 to 31 March 2026. This includes NHS Standard Contract holders, PCN Groupings, single practice PCNs, and Community Pharmacies, GP federations, independent sector providers, charities and other healthcare providers. All Potential Suppliers must meet the Minimum Requirements as set out in the COVID-19 Vaccination Site Sign-up Process Guidance and must propose a site that is based on their CQC or GPhC registered Healthcare Premises.

This notice replaces the previous notice that was posted on 30 May 2024. This procurement follows the same processes as the previous and requires the same services. The only material change is that single practice PCNs (as defined in the Site-Sign-up for all Suppliers Guidance) can now apply via this Site Sign-up Process.

The value of this contract is estimated based on expected costs and funding but are not confirmed.

Please note, the closing date for this opportunity is 16 June 2025 to allow sufficient time for an assessment of remaining gaps and any additional procurements required, as well as providers to be onboarded for 1 October 2025. However, responses will be accepted on an ongoing basis throughout the contractual period and interim response deadlines will be communicated to providers which align to any further seasonal COVID-19 vaccination campaigns advised by JCVI and accepted by Government.
