St George's University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust currently has five Apheresis Systems of various ages. The machines are used to perform Red Cell Exchange Transfusions, Therapeutic Plasma Exchanges, Stem Cell Collections and White Blood Cell Depletions. Over the last few years, the Trust has seen a steady increase in the purchase of the consumables required to undertake treatments. To ensure compliance the Trust is looking to secure the required consumable products under a multi-year contract.
