Buckinghamshire and Milton Keynes Fire Authority (BMKFA) (the contracting Authority) wish to appoint a single Service Provider to provide the complete HVAC services detailed in the specification of requirements for Buckinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service. The Contracting Authority’s service delivery is managed through its Headquarters facilities department, based at Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire, across 19 sites within the county of Buckinghamshire and Milton Keynes. The successful bidder will also be provided with access to bid for future capital project opportunities that may arise during the contract term, which fall within the area of service expertise contained within the specification.The successful bidder will be required to provide a range of services to maintain the Authority’s Pre-Planned maintenance services along with the Reactive maintenance services for all the HVAC requirements detailed within the Specification of Requirement.

two.2.4) Description of the procurement
Buckinghamshire and Milton Keynes Fire Authority (BMKFA) (the contracting Authority) wish to appoint a single Service Provider to provide the complete HVAC services detailed in the specification of requirements for Buckinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service. Bidders will be expected to demonstrate experience of a combination of wet and dry HVAC systems across multiple sites, including HVAC systems fuelled by Gas, LPG or Heating oil (Kerosene)Bidders are recommended to attend the 4 days of site visits, which will take place on the 6th, 7th, 8th, and 9th of December 2021. Full details of the four days of site visits are contained within the tender documents. The contract is expected to be awarded by February 2022 with a service commencement date of 01 April 2022. The initial contract term is for 3 years with an option to extend a further 24 months.The average annual value of the contract is estimated to be £67k, with an estimated total contract value of £335k for the possible full term of up to 5 years. The annual value consists of pre planned maintenance and reactive maintenance.
