Chesterfield Borough Council is looking to migrate its remaining servers to a cloud environment and alongside that replace our internet gateway and core firewall. The key drivers to doing this is to mitigate the risk of end-of-life hardware, improving resilience and disaster recovery, and reducing operational cost. This project is part of a wider Digital Transformation Programme that has been running for three years. During this time, we have upgraded our IT infrastructure and end user devices, implemented several applications on SalesForce and migrated core applications to SaaS platforms.
This procurement covers design, implementation, and licences/service costs for a three-year initial term with three further one-year extensions. It is split into two lots: Lot 1 – Cloud Migration & Lot 2 – Internet Gateway.
