Kent county Council (the Authority) wishes to engage with suppliers regarding capacity in the market to provide waste disposal services for hazardous chemicals and paint from across Kent.

The supplier will be responsible for the collection, reception, testing, handling, storage, processing / treatment, and disposal of all hazardous chemicals, hazardous paint, water based paint and paint receptacles from Kent’s Waste Collection Authorities (WCA), where these have been fly tipped, and from Kent’s network of Household Waste Recycling Centres (HWRCs) where the public can dispose of such household waste.

Organisations which ‘Register an interest’ in this opportunity will be invited to complete a ‘Market Engagement Questionnaire’, which will be immediately accessible via the Kent Business Portal (https://www.kentbusinessportal.org.uk/). Project Reference: DN742105

Responses to this questionnaire will be used to inform the Authority’s strategy for commissioning these services in the future; the Authority may contact organisations directly to discuss/clarify their response to this questionnaire where necessary.

Please note that although this PIN opportunity is for both Hazardous Chemicals and Paint KCC reserves the right to lot this contract should there be scope to do so.
