Parents in Mind / Parents in Mind Partners / Reflective Parenting programmes aim to reduce the stigma around mental health and offer an opportunity for parents to talk about their emotional health and wellbeing in a group setting or on an individual basis. Parents in Mind Partners uses innovative ways to engage with men in order to support them in a safe environment with other men which encourages them to be open about their experiences. Reflective Parenting programme works with parents and their infants to improve the bonding and attachment which is so important in the first 1001 critical days of a baby's life. All three programmes form an integral part of the parent and infant mental health pathway in St Helens.

This is a Provider Selection Regime (PSR) confirmation of contract award notice. This contract has been awarded under the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. For the avoidance of doubt, the provisions of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 do not apply to this award. This contract has now been formally awarded using direct award process C.

NHS Cheshire & Merseyside ICB - St Helens Place has awarded a 3-year contract with the option to extend for 2 years to the current provider under Direct Award Process C. These three service programmes - Parents in Mind, Parents in Mind Partners, and Reflective Parenting form an integral part of the parent and infant mental health pathway in St Helens. The contract commenced on 1st April 2024 and will expire 31st March 2027 with an annual contract value of £88,114 (subject to any annual NHS national uplift).
