Explanation:

The situation is justified noting there has been a continuous turnover in the Director of Nursing role within our organisation This role also holds the position of Director of Infection Prevention and Control (DIPC), with three Directors of Nursing incumbent in the position over the past two years. This turnover has disrupted the continuity and oversight necessary for managing the standard contract procurement processes in relation to this specialist contract. The changes in leadership has created delays in finalising essential contracts, further justifying the need to expedite this process under the urgent provision of the Provider Selection Regime
