Warrington Borough Council (the Council) is seeking to appoint a contractor to provide textile and shoe recycling banks at designated sites in Warrington, with an option for more sites to be added during the contract period. The service will require the provision of both the banks, collections and recycling of the collected items. The contract period is five years with an option to extend for up to a further three year period.
During the contract period, the Council may decide to extend the service to kerbside collections. If which case we would look to employ the contractor to also recycle any textiles/ shoes collected by the authority from the kerbside.
