Torbay Pharmaceuticals is the largest NHS manufacturer of sterile pharmaceuticals based in Paignton, Devon. Torbay Pharmaceuticals have a portfolio of over 170 products and manufacture a range of UK licensed, unlicensed ‘specials’ and CE marked medical devises in a wide range of therapy areas. Torbay Pharmaceuticals holds a current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP) license for the manufacture of pharmaceutical products, issued by the UK Medicines and Healthcare Products Regulatory Agency (MHRA), as such all products are manufactured under MHRA cGMP conditions and suppliers will need to conform to the requirements specified, which will include (but not limited to) site audits on request, signing of a mutually agreed Technical Agreement setting out responsibilities and holding certification from a recognized authority that they have an effective Quality Management System (QMS) in place.
