two.2.4) Description of the procurement
Bury Council is seeking an Education Management System to achieve a more efficient and automated method of collecting data from its schools. The system will improve the data quality and timeliness of pupil data to support the Council's statutory and business requirements.
The requirement is split into three distinct areas:
- Core pupil data and school data imports
- Admissions and transfers
- Early years providers and funding
Bidders must have a minimum of three ‘live’ customers with their proposed education system and must be capable of recording and storing all Department of Education CBDS child fields relevant to the areas above.
The contract is expected to commence on the 1st September 2022 for a period of 4 years, to 31st August 2026, with the option to extend for a further 2 years.
The closing time for completed tender submissions, via The Chest, is 12 noon on Tuesday 21st December 2021.
