In fulfilling our role as a regulatory body, the majority of GMC teams interact with two key groups; doctors and patients. These interactions can be face-to-face, by telephone or in writing and can often be challenging. Due to the sensitive nature of our work, we are regularly in contact with customers who are vulnerable or have mental health conditions.

Over the last six years our Learning & Organisational Development team have worked with an external provider to develop a bespoke blended programme of workshops, videos, eLearning, guidance and interventions to help staff develop the skills they need to manage challenging interactions effectively and support their emotional wellbeing.

The successful provider will work closely with the Learning and Organisational Development team to deliver and maintain the integrity and credibility of the existing blended programme by providing ad hoc delivery and ongoing professional consultancy and supervision for our internal trainers.
