Clinical Psychology and Child and Adolescent Psychotherapy Doctoral Programmes: Training Cost / Funding BreakdownRequest for Information (RFI) from Health Education EnglandSignificant expansion of the Psychological Professions workforce is vital to the delivery of the NHS Long Term Plan objectives. We are looking to undertake a retendering process to support the future sustainability and expansion of this vital workforce, to reach our priority NHS Long Term Plan ambitions.The retender exercise is for the Clinical Psychology and Child and Adolescent Psychotherapy training programmes commencing from the 2023 cohort.Following further discussions and engagement with potential bidders and with NHS England and Improvement colleagues, HEE has taken the decision to extend the procurement process and include a Request for Information (RFI) stage to in procurement process. This will help to capture granular detail of the anticipated cost of delivering these programmes from you as expert providers in the market. It is important that we hear your views to give as accurate a picture as possible. The information collected will inform the development of the procurement specification.The aim of this RFI is to:• Provide HEE with information about costing models for delivery of these training programmes. This is general information is to give HEE a better understanding of what can be provided.
