NHS Arden and Greater East Midlands CSU on behalf of NHS Black Country ICB is seeking expressions of interest from suitably experienced and qualified providers for the provision of a COVID Medicines Delivery Unit (CMDU). The CMDU aims to provide timely and effective Covid-19 treatments to eligible patients in the Black Country. This service reduces hospital admissions, manages mild to moderate cases within the community, and supports the NHS by alleviating the pressure on hospital services. The service assists patients in managing their condition at home and preventing Covid related complications. The service also ensures that any Covid medication (Oral Anti-Retroviral Treatment or or nMABs -Neutralising Monoclonal Antibodies) are delivered safely to patients.
The ICB intends to hold a market engagement event, held virtually via Microsoft Teams, on 11th September at 10am. Providers interested in attending should register their interest via the Atamis Health Family portal (https://atamis-1928.my.site.com/s/Welcome and searching for project C304067) by completing a short questionnaire. A link to the event will then be forwarded to the nominated contact(s).
