Havering Council is inviting tenders for a seven year contract for the provision of a Supported Accommodation Service for people with Learning Disabilities from 1st August 2023 to 31st July 2030.

This is an invitation to tender.

The service required is to provide housing related support to vulnerable adults with mild to moderate learning disabilities to enable them to maintain their independence in their own home. This will ensure that the Council continues to provide low level support to promote independence, prevent the need for more costly care and support interventions, making the most of existing personal and community resources and fulfils the Council's duties under the Care Act to help vulnerable people remain safe in the community.

The Council intends the contract to be awarded in March 2023 and then mobilised to begin on 1st August 2023 for a seven year period. In total, the contract will be worth an estimated £1.68m over the seven years (total value subject to the price submitted by the winning bidder).

The evaluation criteria is 25% Quality, 5% Social Value and 70% Price.
