two.2.4) Description of the procurement

The Authority has a requirement for Contractor to provide a comprehensive entomology and vector management training courses:

Training on collection of specimen vectors in the field and identify, to Genus level.

Entomology Training to Level 5 academic standard to meet the validation requirements of the Academic Partner and the CIEH.

One course of 5 days duration per annum is required during Block 4 (Phase 2) of the EHP BSc (Hons) Studies Programme, within the first two weeks in March each year.

To train up to 16 military students per year.

Provide all special clothing and protective personal apparatus in accordance with current Health and Safety Legislation.

There is no requirement for the contractor to provide accommodation.

two.2.14) Additional information

In accordance with the Defence Cyber Protection Partnership (DCPP), the Authority has determined the level of cyber risk as Low (Reference: RAR – VWQT86VD) as defined in DEF Stan 05-138. In order to do business with the MOD you must have the cyber security controls required as shown above.
