This procurement activity will facilitate several purchases that when combined will form part of a ‘digital factory’ capability build (and industrial demonstrator) for CPI’s National Industrial Biotechnology Facility 2 (NIBF2) plant. This plant is utilised for the batch manufacturing of protein-based food and feed via bio-fermentation. The newest configuration of the NIBF2 plant was commissioned in 2022 and is controlled and automated utilising Siemens DCS controllers and Siemens PCS7 software.This procurement activity will facilitate purchase for the service contract for CPI’s NIBF2 plant. This plant is utilised for the batch manufacturing of protein-based food and feed via bio-fermentation.
