The museum is seeking to replace an older inductively coupled plasma-mass spectrometer (ICP-MS) with an updated model which has superior sensitivity and interference removal capabilities, shorter dwell and settling times, and a larger dynamic measurement range. The initial contract shall include the manufacture, delivery, installation and one years warranty/service support, with options to extend the warranty and service support thereafter.

Description of renewals

Following award the mass spectrometer shall be manufactured, delivered and installed by 26th march 2024. The initial award shall also include warranty/service support for a further year. Options for extended warranty/service support/end of life disposal shall be allowed for for a further nine number twelve month periods beyond this.
