Market Engagement for The Provision of Court of Protection Service for uncontested Deprivation Of Liberty Safeguards on behalf of NHS London Integrated Care Boards. NHS London Integrated Care Boards (ICBs) are still finalising its decision in regard to future Service Provision, for the Court of Protection (COP) Service for uncontested Deprivation Of Liberty Safeguards (DOLS) COP DOL11 applications to be submitted to court and contested (where identified) cases and is inviting market engagement to seek the views and opinions of those organisations that may be interested to become involved in delivering this future Service.
The ICBs (North East London (NEL), North Central London (NCL), North West London (NWL), South West London (SWL), South East London (SEL) )wish to obtain a Service Provision to provide a cost effective and efficient process to help deal with the R x applications to the Court of Protection, to start as soon as possible and no later than on 31 March 2024.
The intention for each London ICB to consider and establish a contract agreement for up to 6 months with the option to extend for an additional 6 months. An upper indicative support for the application of a value of £5,000. On-going cases identified will be funded per agreed fixed cost per case on submission to cost. Please note that the ICBs are aiming to obtain the best value for money for this Service. An overall total contract value including extensions will be ascertained by each London ICB separately upon consideration of the expression of interest however for assistance with this Market Engagement the upper indicative Value to provide the Service for all ICBs is £5,625,000 (based on an approx. of 1125 applications).
Any responses provided will not be treated as commercially confidential and may be used by NHS London ICBs in the final solution specifications used for the contract, but no organisation will be individually identified.
