The ICB would like to issue a short-term direct award for a period of 18 months starting on the 1st October 2024 until 31st March 2026. This will allow time for a full-service review and commission intention to be undertaken for a counselling, life coaching, pain management and emotional wellbeing services for people with HIV in Brent. The services will provide frontline healthcare and treatment to help rehabilitate patients who are ill, have disabilities or have special needs, to live life as fully as possible. The aim is to enhance health, promote long-term skills, build supportive communities and empower self-management.
The award is being made to the existing provider of the service, as per Provider Selection Regime, Direct Award Process C, for a period of 18 months at a value of £107,663.25 to Living Well.
The existing provider is satisfying the original contract and will likely satisfy the proposed contract to a sufficient standard and has been assessed against the five key criteria.
This is a Provider Selection Regime (PSR) intention to award notice. The awarding of this contract is subject to the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. For the avoidance of doubt, the provisions of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 do not apply to this award. The publication of this notice marks the start of the standstill period.
