The provider will be responsible for the design and prototyping of a custom system in-order to support the group's drive towards GMP, automated RNA production.

The high-level work required is:

• The provider will work with The Kis Group to generate an engineering specification that meets their bioprocess. To achieve this the provider must have a working understanding of standard bioprocess techniques and have hands-on laboratory experience.

• The provider will generate high-level concepts to be discussed and reviewed by The Kis Group.

• The provider will then work with The Kis Group to allocate specific sections of work packages between the provider and The Kis Group.

• The provider will start by completing work packages that automate each of the individual RNA production steps (IVT, purification, LNP formation). For each of these work packages the provider will design concepts, review them with The Kis Group, generate manufacture files and source parts.

• The provider will assist The Kis Group in testing the sub-system prototypes in the biology lab. The provider must therefore have a team member with experience in biology labs.

• After subsystems are validated the provider will be responsible for designing a complete integrated system. Following concept design the provider will generate manufacturing documents and source components. The provider will work with The Kis Group to validate the integrated system against key bioprocess outputs.
