two.1.4) Short description

The London Borough of Hackney’s Adults Social Care Commissioning Service is pleased to invite bids from organisations able to evidence the necessary experience, skills and abilities to deliver the Advocacy Service.

The Advocacy Service is open to all residents within Hackney who require this service. The service is split into two streams – a statutory service, where referrals are triaged, and the non-statutory service. Lead providers will also include training and support for subcontracting MSMEs / SMEs who deliver the non-statutory service within the borough. The maximum average price per annum is: £535k.

The successful Provider will be able to evidence how they can build on existing successes and current good work through partnership working within the borough between various agencies. This will help to maximise outcomes for residents who access Advocacy services.

The contract term for this service will be three years, with an option to extend for up to a further two years (1+1) subject to funding and satisfactory performance.

The Council will be carrying out a two-stage tender process. Please note that eligibility criteria includes experience of other similar contracts and a commitment to hold or work towards the Quality Performance Mark. If you do not meet this criteria which is listed in the Selection Questionnaire, then your bid will not be considered as successful. The Council anticipates that TUPE will apply for this tender.
