NHS Frimley Integrated Care Board (Frimley ICB) and NHS Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire, and Berkshire West Integrated Care Board (BOB ICB) are both seeking to engage with potential providers to understand the position of the market and help develop an approach for commissioning Nutrition Supply Services.

Frimley ICB and BOB ICB ("The Commissioners") are intending to carry out one joint procurement process to commission Nutrition Supply Services within these geographical areas. It is their intention to split the procurement into 2 lots, as detailed in the description section of this Notice, but this is not yet confirmed. The responses to the questionnaire may influence this approach. The Contracting Authority for Lot 1 would be Frimley ICB, and the Contracting Authority for Lot 2 would be BOB ICB.

Frimley ICB and Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire and Berkshire West (BOB) ICB are intending to carry out one joint procurement process to commission Nutrition Supply Services within these geographical areas. The Contracting Authority for Lot 1 would be Frimley Integrated Care Board. The Commissioners' intention is for this contract to be for a period of 3 years, with the option to extend for a further 2 years.

Lot 1 - Provide oral nutrition supplements (ONS) to acute & community hospital providers and enteral nutrition supply services across Frimley ICB and Berkshire West area of BOB ICB (Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust, Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust and Berkshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust).

The enteral nutrition supply services across Frimley ICB and Berkshire West area of BOB ICB would include:

- Supply of enteral feeds, ONS for administration via enteral tube, pumps and consumable for hospitals with delivery to sites

- Supply of enteral feeds, ONS for administration via enteral tube, pumps and consumable for community patients with a home delivery service.

- Hospital and community clinical nursing support service

(Organisations included: Berkshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust, Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust, NHS Frimley Health Foundation Trust, Frimley ICB, Berkshire West area of BOB ICB).

The Commissioners invite interested providers to complete a pre-procurement market engagement questionnaire. Please submit your completed questionnaire by 12 noon on Thursday 28th September 2023 via our e-procurement system, Atamis, available on the following link: https://health-family.force.com/s/Welcome

This process is being carried out by NHS South, Central and West Commissioning Support Unit (SCW) on behalf of the Commissioners.
