Mental Health Resilience Network – alliance contract

The London Borough of Camden is seeking to procure services within the Mental Health Resilience Network (MHRN) using an alliance contracting model. The MHRN is made up of voluntary and community sector (VCS) organisations that work in partnership with Camden and Islington NHS Foundation Trust (C&I) and the Council.

MHRN services provide community-based support to people with a range of mental health needs. The core vision of the new alliance will be to: provide help at an earlier point; ensure easy access; enhance partnership working; reduce inequalities; and remain flexible and responsive to evidence-based and coproduction approaches. Commissioners and providers will work collaboratively to achieve these goals.

There are a range of common objectives across all providers; to intervene early to provide preventative services, build community resilience and raise awareness to reduce the stigma associated with mental ill health.

The services will be provided using an alliance model with a clear focus on early intervention and prevention to meet ambitions outlined in NHS Long Term Plan.
