NHS Wales Shared Services Partnership, Procurement Services on behalf of Health Education & Improvement Wales is seeking to commission a NHS Wales Graduate Programme over a 2-year period which will assist participants in developing an understanding of compassionate & collective leadership, effective management as well as increasing capacity to effect service improvement. The programme will offer a range of organisational clinical and corporate placements creating a comprehensive understanding of strategy, purpose and core businesses of NHS Wales.

HEIW have a national role for the provision of leadership development and succession planning for NHS Wales. The HEIW integrated medium term plan (IMTP) outlines in strategic objective 3.6 the requirement for the provision of Graduate Programmes. Due to this, there is an intention to implement a contractual agreement for a NHS Wales Graduate Programme for 3 Graduate cohorts, with the optional extension of a further forth cohort.
