The total contract award value provided in Section V.2.4 is the initial tendered sum for the full possible contract period of 10 years at point of contract signature. This figure comprises of a schedule of rates and bill of quantities based on data used for evaluation purposes and is not intended to act as a cap on the Contract costs/value. The figure is expected to be affected by anticipated fluctuations in day works, bills of quantities, inflation, expected growth/key service change in the Authority Area and the utilisation of variation mechanisms included within the Contract during the maximum 10 year period of the Contract.
