Description

It is the intention of the NHS Wales National Digital Cellular Pathology Programme to build on the work of previous phases to proceed with introduction of digital capability providing a digitised Digital Cellular Pathology Service for Wales in line with the global direction of travel. This Digital Cellular Pathology service would incorporate: the ability for any consultant within Wales, to report and review any case, from any location, at any location, using any device; full integration into the All Wales Laboratory Information Management System; full integration into a nationally standardised Voice Recognition System, and the routine use of Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning/Deep Learning.
