Agri-EPI Centre (AEC) is seeking bids from qualified and experienced suppliers who can provide farming services to operate AEC's South West Dairy Development Centre (SWDDC) which is located at Shepton Mallet BA4 6SS. This includes providing a herd of around 180 dairy cows to be milked through the automatic milking system and utilising the resource provided, in addition to providing every assistance to AEC and their clientele as and when required. The principal purpose of the SWDDC is to enable research and demonstration of novel ideas, techniques and environmental issues within dairy farming that will encourage innovation in UK dairy production.
