The DSP Centre at Bangor University undertakes research in advanced communication techniques in its state-of-the-art research facility, which is partly funded by the North Wales Growth Deal (NWGD) through Ambition North Wales. To further expand our research capabilities, we plan to acquire an additional arbitrary waveform generator, along with set-up support and training.

two.2.4) Description of the procurement

Equipment is required for the generation of electrical signals with arbitrary waveforms defined by a predefined sample file. The generator should support i) 4 channels, ii) a sample rate of at least 120GS/s per channel, iii) a bit resolution of 8-bits, and iv) an analogue bandwidth (3dB)of ~40GHz.
