Our vision for the Carers Short Breaks Service to improve the quality of life of unpaid carers and their family members, enabling people to stay well, safe and independent at home for longer. By empowering them to maintain and improve their own emotional, physical, and mental health and wellbeing through the provision of high quality, responsive and reliable care, either in the Carers own home or by either engaging or taking the individual receiving care on a leisure activity.

The service will support unpaid carers who care for an Adult (over the age of 18) who needs support and care because of a disability, health condition, frailty, mental ill health, addiction or other health or care needs, and are living in the borough
