TR11 3QSProject Intent: Falmouth Marine School have bid for strategic development revenue funding to continue with the development of the "De-carbonising marine vessels" project. The initial phase of this project resulted in the development of a dedicated marine electrical classroom and a remote machinery control and bridge simulation suite, the development of a virtual reality suite for the delivery of maritime training and the purchase of two Nelson 18 harbour launches. Along side the capital funding, the college also utilised revenue funding for the employ of a number of consultancy roles to develop links with local industry and schools that culminated in a the delivery of two Discovery Events to focus on sustainable marine development.

The Cornwall College Group is in process of bidding for funding through the Strategic Development Fund III for the ‘Building Sustainable Futures’ project, which is supported by investment from the Department for Education.Project Intent:Falmouth Marine School have bid for strategic development revenue funding to continue with the development of the "De-carbonising marine vessels" project. The initial phase of this project resulted in the development of a dedicated marine electrical classroom and a remote machinery control and bridge simulation suite, the development of a virtual reality suite for the delivery of maritime training and the purchase of two Nelson 18 harbour launches.
