Plymouth City Council (‘The Council’) is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced supplier to provide a service for the collection, transportation, processing, and treatment of approximately 7,000 tonnes per annum of garden waste.

The garden waste is sourced from the Council’s Household Waste Recycling Centres, household collections, and commercial sources.

The Service is required to maximise the diversion of garden waste from Energy from Waste (EfW) and proposals should prioritise recycling over other treatment options in accordance with the waste hierarchy.
