The University is in contract with Studiosity Pty Ltd for a software platform for providing feedback on coursework which supports student success and supports the university's work on the awarding gap. The University plans to extend its contract and capability under this product and licence until 31 July 2027 (which amounts to an extension of 2 years). The extension period will allow the university to take advantage of enhancements in the platform. The value of the extension is £0.7m. Although the University believes that all changes are within the scope of the original contract it has published this notice to be transparent. If your company believes that it can provide an equivalent platform with the appropriate functionality, please provide details to us.

Explanation:

We believe the contract extension is a permitted contract. The university has used the software platform over a number of years. The supplier has made bespoke developments to the platform to suit the university, which would permit movement to any off the shelf platform. The data embedded in the existing software platform may not be readily transferrable to an alternative platform.
