Norfolk County Council are looking for suitable providers to deliver smoking cessation services and is interested in meeting with potential suppliers for such a service. Further details of meetings are below.The service will comprise the following elements:· Specialist stop smoking service delivered by trained advisors, worth around £3.7 million over 7 years · A focus on engaging communities where smoking prevalence is highest· Working with local vape retailers to deliver an e-cigarette service (vouchers and direct supply)· Training and governance of locally commissioned service providers (including GP practices, pharmacies and other community providers)· Working with the Integrated Care System to deliver on its requirements of the NHS Long Term Plan

two.2.4) Description of the procurement

Norfolk County Council are looking for suitable providers to deliver smoking cessation services and are interested in meeting with potential suppliers.Norfolk County Council is recommissioning stop smoking services including both specialist and community (level 2) provision. We are focussing on our specialist service now and later in the year we will be opening a procurement for the community service, which will be worth around £1.5 million initially over six years which will be delivered via our healthy lifestyles framework.The service will comprise the following elements:· Specialist stop smoking service delivered by trained advisors, worth around £3.7 million over 7 years · A focus on engaging communities where smoking prevalence is highest· Working with local vape retailers to deliver an e-cigarette service (vouchers and direct supply)· Training and governance of locally commissioned service providers (including GP practices, pharmacies and other community providers)· Working with the Integrated Care System to deliver on its requirements of the NHS Long Term PlanThe Council will be available for meetings, via Teams, with potential bidders for this service on 25th September to discuss the draft specification.
