This is an intention to award the contract for an existing service to an existing provider following a direct award process C to deliver elements of the Mental Health Joint Strategic Needs Assessment.

Bolton Council Public Health Team are looking to commission an organisation who can support to identify, meet, engage, and work with local providers and commissioners to gather, extract information for elements of the JSNA.

two.2.4) Description of the procurement

Bolton Council Public Health Team are looking to commission an organisation who can support to identify, meet, engage, and work with local providers and commissioners to gather, extract information for elements of the JSNA. The draft format of the JSNA is as follows to date:

• Table of key indicators based on key themes

• Evidence base for key theme, rationale of importance

• Local context- to work with key stakeholders (what's working well, what's not working well, any gaps...

• Evidence base for key interventions to meet needs of population.

• What should we be commissioning?

The Recipient is expected to focus and deliver on the points above and support with a discussion around what should we be commissioning with PH Lead.

In addition, the Recipient will lead on updating the existing CYP MH JSNA and provide narrative in the format for each section as described above.

The lifetime value of the contract is £5000 to be provided between 09/2024 and 03/2025 and the intention is to award the contract to an existing provider following Provider Selection Regime Direct Award Process C.

Representations by providers must be made to the relevant authority by midnight 30.08.24. This contract has not yet formally been awarded; this notice serves as an intention to award under the PSR. The submission was assessed and the provider selected against the following key criteria :

The provider successfully demonstrated the key criteria in relation to this contract. The nature of the works provided in the contract have previously been delivered by this provider and this contract is a small extension to the works carried out. The existing provider is well positioned to deliver the contract given the timescales associated and can deliver the outcomes required.
