two.2.4) Description of the procurement

This PIN is for the manufacture and installation of TfL Station Kiosk Units and Carts

TfL owns the designs for station retail kiosks and carts, and one kiosk has been installed as an initial trial. TfL now plans to expand on the successful trial and aims to include a range of sizes for the kiosks, as well as carts in order to be able to respond flexibly to retail market demand.

It is anticipated that approx. 80 kiosks and approx. 40 carts would be supplied as and when required, in locations across the TfL network, over a period of 4 years.

Prior to initiating the procurement, TfL will be seeking initial market feedback from interested parties. Details of how to participate in the process and obtain further information will be published shortly.

At this stage, the decision has not been finalised whether to divide this opportunity into lots (for kiosks and carts). The decision will be made after market feedback has been received.
