The NWG/Rivers Trust partnership established the North East Catchments Hub (NECH); a new, currently informal organisation, which has brought catchment resources, expertise and partner engagement capacity into the region to support our work.
This contract has been awarded to enable further catchment investigations and activities up to March 2025. This will support catchment activities across 47 water bodies, representing investment in catchment solutions to meet requirements of the Water Framework Directive (WFD), to be delivered in partnership by 2035.
