Gateshead Council is seeking to enter into a Framework contract with suppliers who can provide a wide range of Construction & Building Materials which will assist the Council in delivering a high quality cost effective Housing Repairs and Maintenance Service together with other operational Construction Services.
We are looking to enter into contracts with a wide range of suppliers across a number of lots, to supply materials to Construction Services directly to construction sites and to the main Construction Services Stores. This will support the service in delivering the Housing Repairs and Maintenance Works and Services.

Imprest Van Stock Lot 1- This Lot will be divided into kits for various trades. Tenderers bidding to supply kits MUST be capable of supplying every item listed within that kit. Tenderers can bid for one or more kits.

General Stock Lot 2 - This Lot consists of a number categories each category containing many items. Tenderers must bid for all items in the lot to me considered. Tenderers will be ranked for each lot for which they have bid. The first 3 ranked Tenderers will be awarded the item. The Tenderer ranked 1 will be asked to supply the item in the first instance and be the tier one supplier into stores, if the first ranked Tenderer cannot for whatever reason supply the item the second ranked considered for supply.
