The ICB intends to award this contract to the current provider DMC following the direct award C route. The contract has an estimated value of £1.9m (cost and volume).

This is a Provider Selection Regime (PSR) intention to award notice. The awarding of this contract is subject to the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. For the avoidance of doubt, the provisions of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 do not apply to this award. The publication of this notice marks the start of the standstill period. Representations by providers must be made to decision makers by 29/08/2024. This contract has not yet formally been awarded; this notice serves as an intention to award under the PSR.

Relative importance of the key criteria

The following key criteria was applied in the assessment of the provider:

a- Quality and Innovation (Weighting 20%),

b- Value (20%)

c- Integration , Collaboration and Service Sustainability (Weighting 20%),

d- Improving Access, Reducing Health inequalities and Facilitating Choice (weighting 20%),

e- Social Value (weighting 20%)

Rationale for the relative importance of key criteria:

All aspects were determined to be equally important and therefore allocated same weighting of 20%.

Rationale for choosing the provider:

The provider was assessed both for their current performance and potential future performance and scored overall 80% providing evaluator with confidence in their ability to meet the requirements of future contract.

In addition to the key criteria, the basic selection criteria used was as below (Pass/ Fail) and the provider 'passed' across all areas:

-The provider's suitability to pursue a particular activity.

- The provider's economic and financial standing.
