NHS England (referred to as the Commissioner) is inviting suitably qualified and experienced providers to express their interest in delivering the Service(s) under an ASSURANCE process, by responding to this opportunity as required and described in this document, and within the published process. NHS Arden and Greater East Midlands CSU (AGCSU) is acting
as an agent for and on behalf of the Commissioner and is supporting the ASSURANCE process. As a result of this ASSURANCE process an agreement will be established with the successful Applicant(s) for a period of 1 year with the Commissioner having the option to extend the Contract a further 1 year, unless terminated earlier in accordance with the terms of the
Contract and will be subject to an annual review period where the specification may be revised.
The contract does not guarantee any volume of activity or payment to a provider, as it is awarded on a zero value, zero volume basis and activity levels may differ during the period of service provision due to factors beyond the Commissioner’s control. Payment will be based on actual activity delivered, paid at the specified tariff rates. Successful providers will
be expected to be fully operational, providing services from 1 April 2024.
