The purpose of this PIN is to notify the market of an upcoming procurement. This procurement will seek to appoint a provider for the supply of ground fuels to British Forces Cyprus (BFC).

two.2.4) Description of the procurement
There is an enduring requirement for the delivery of ground fuels throughout BFC locations.
- Bulk Automotive Diesel (MT Diesel) – General Purpose to BS EN 590:2013 specification standard or European equivalent.
- Bulk Fuel Oils for Domestic & Industrial Engines and Boiler (Fuel Furnace Oil – Gas Oil) to BS 2869:2010 specification standard or European equivalent.
- Jet-A1 Fuel for Kingsfield Airfield.
Deliveries must be made within 48 hours from the point of order to any of the six demanding stations within BFC; Akrotiri, Episkopi, Troodos, Dhekelia, Kingsfield and Ayios Nikolaos.
Estimated annual and volumetric requirements based on previous usage will be provided as part of the tender, however this is a call-off contract so there is no commitment by the Authority to volumes.
The MOD is seeking a provider who holds the following accreditations, or will by contract start date:

Providers who have equivalent standards (to those ISOs defined above) will be assessed openly and equally during the tender process.
