This Prior Information Notice (PIN) is to advise prospective providers of the Commissioner's intention. It is our intention to commence a procurement process from early October 2023 (date tbc).
Healthy Minds is our strategic and system approach to achieve better lives and improve the support we offer to people with mental health. We want to make it easier for people in Bradford District and Craven to access information, advice, support, and personalised care based on their needs. Through the Mental Health transformation programmes, we are in the process of re-designing crisis and community mental health care, making better use of collective resources by bringing together local authorities, NHS services, primary care networks and the voluntary and community sector to deliver proactive, personalised, and preventive mental health care.
BDCHP have a ring-fenced investment to commission Specialist Mental Health Services in the Community for Ethnically and Culturally Diverse Communities. This is available to community organisations providing specialist mental health services in recognition of their vital role in responding to ongoing system pressures and supporting some of the most acutely ill and vulnerable people. We are looking for a provider or group of providers who will shape and deliver culturally appropriate services with the population we serve.
