Framework operation description
- Works to be undertaken following a quotation exercise will require the composition of a Request for Quotation (RFQ) letter and suitable specification by the officer.
- The Council acknowledges that a contractor's capacity to undertake work may vary, and thus, allows Contractors to withdraw or opt out from tender opportunities as necessary. This flexibility enables us to monitor trends and enhance the framework progressively.
- For each subsequent competition opportunity, we will provide specific project details via email. These details will include the location, set up, event day and breakdown dates and required staff / items.
- RFQ's will be awarded to the lowest bidder
- Following the agreement of a decision to proceed with works via day rates or a quotation, the officer will issue a call-off order form detailing the contract works, key contacts and other service deliverables. This will be signed and returned by the contractor prior to works commencing.
- All quotations will be fixed as per the terms of the overall framework contract.
