NHS North of England Commissioning Support Unit (NECS) requires connectivity to the Health and Social Care Network (HSCN), the Internet and NECS' data centres for 460+ North East GP practices and ICB corporate sites, NECS, NECS customer sites and the 170+ GP & ICB corporate sites of Derby & Derbyshire ICB (D&D). This is currently provided by two Community of Interest Networks that are centred on NECS' data centres. NECS is keen to explore alternative solutions that are suited to more modern ways of working and technologies

This exercise is to inform NECS' design of its network infrastructure and its procurement route.
