This service provides a secure environment in which patients who have been violent or aggressive in their GP practice can receive general medical services. The scheme provides general medical services to patients who meet the criteria for inclusion into the scheme and cannot be used for any other circumstance.

NHS Cornwall and Isles of Scilly ICB are intending to award a contract an existing provider following direct award process C.

Estimated lifetime value of the contract is £449,750.00

Start date 1/4/2025 until 31/3/2028 with the option to extend until 31/03/2030.

This is a Provider Selection Regime (PSR) intention to award notice. The awarding of this contract is subject to the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. For the avoidance of doubt, the provisions of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 do not apply to this award. The standstill period begins on the day after the publication of this notice. Representations by providers must be made to decision makers by 4/6/2025. This contract has not yet formally been awarded; this notice serves as an intention to award under the PSR.
