Explanation:

It is considered that this contract can be awarded using the negotiated procedure without prior publication of a contract notice, pursuant to Regulation 16(1) (a) (ii) of the UK Defence and Security Public Contract Regulations 2011 for the following Technical Reasons.

Technical Reasons:

The proposed solution is required to provide an established, sensor agnostic approach to satellite data processing, capable of full integration upon deployment with extant UK Government architectures.

Please note this is a Voluntary Transparency Notice, this contract has not been awarded yet.

Subject to DSTL receiving no notice during the standstill period of any intention to legally challenge the award process, DSTL aims to award the Proposed Contract after 12:00 on 26 September 2022 (10 calendar days after publishing)
