Provision of Fibrous Moulded (and other) Plaster Ceiling Surveys & Limited Remediation

Blackpool Council is looking to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced company who can provide competent plasterwork inspectors and structural engineers to inspect any structural elements. The company will also be called on to carry out any minor / spot / emergency repairs requiring urgent attention to make good on an ad-hoc basis only, capped at £25,000 per work order. Please see the attached specification and accompanying documents for the full scope of activity required under this agreement.

Blackpool Council wishes to appoint a single Contractor who can clearly demonstrate the ability to meet our requirements and who offers the most economically advantageous tender.

It is anticipated that the contract term will be from 1st January 2025 to 31st December 2027 (3 years), with the option to extend for a period of 1 year (subject to contract review and budget availability).

The successful bidder will be required to liaise with the listed venues to ensure 2025 survey dates are scheduled before the contract start date.
